    3gs HELP!!

    hi, ive just borrowed a iphone 3gs off a friend whilst my phone is repaired! 8gb model cluttered with all his msgs and media, i took the option to reset it but he didnt mention it had been jailbroken! i am now looking at the apple logo and every 20 mins it seems to reboot then stay omn the apple logo... any ideas what i can do if anything or is it knakkered? thanks

    have you done a back up in itunes ??? also you will need to jailbrack again

      If you did a reset (restore) using itunes, it removes the jailbreak. Try re-jailbreaking it.

        In my opinion you better start fresh.
        Best way is to put the iPhone in DFU mode:
        1. Connect your iPhone to PC via USB cable
        2. Turn it off
        3. Hold down power and home buttons
        4. When you see Apple logo, keep holding down HOME button but release POWER.
        5. iTunes will tell you the iPhone is in recovery mode.

        Now you cand reset your iPhone using iTunes.
        It will install latest iOS.
        Then you can jailbreak if you want

          do a clean restore (latest updated software) then check this page and get all back
