Phone keeps going into safe mode...

hey guys...

i have a really weird issue.. Every mornng when i wake up my and look at my phone it tells me it's gone into safe mode.

now the only thing that could be causing this is the alarm as there is nothing else running or set to run through the night..? but i don't understand how that can be. My phone is jailbroken with Absinthe.

anybody know what i can do to fix this issue.. my alarm doesn't actually go off anymore hence me thinking it could be the alarm.

It's not the alarm...it's obviously a jailbreak tweak your running....or a badly cracked tweak your running....
What have you got installed...?

Back up your phone with iTunes first incase something goes wrong. Try to remember the last cydia program or tweak you installed and remove it via cydia (connect to wifi>load cydia>manage>packages>select a program or tweak you have installed manually from the list>modify>remove). If you dont recognise a name on the list it was probably installed as default when cydia was installed, so leave well alone. Reboot iPhone every time you remove one to see if it boots and stays out of safe mode when an alarm goes off. Good luck.

but surely if it was a tweak running it would happen during the day too.. only overnight it happens

I can only tell you how I have resolved problems with iPhones and safe mode in the past. The jailbreak process itself can cause instability in some apple default apps as well as 3rd party. If you set an alarm to go off in 5 minutes time will it go into safe mode? If not then the issue only seems to occur when the phone is in sleep mode for longer periods. Maybe a restore via iTunes and re-jailbreak will be the only way to resolve this.
