Hi all is their a d.i.y to open an iphone 3gs to all networks, i bought the phone 2nd hand & i put an o2 sim in ive rest all data etc but saying carrier is o2 & i want to change to 3 thanks!!
Yes there is a DIY Guide.
Step 1. Ring O2
Step 2. Ask them to unlock it
Step 3. Pay for it if it's on PAYG or it'll be free if you no longer on a contract.
Step 4. Enjoy

02 probably wont unlock the handset unless you have proof of ownership!!!!!!
but you can jailbreak the phone and use ultrasn0w to unlock it, theres a chance u will have to flash the ipad baseband and then downgrade again for a fully operational handset.
