unlock 4s help

have a m8s phone on 5.1.1 base 04.12.01 tried to unlock with sam and got no wear tried untrasnow and the same .,, any ideas were lm going wrong or is it a no no on this ,, his on t mobile but its a phone off ebay

its says no sig with the card in that came with it but works in mine ? strange , wonder if it was robbed

the fone is an iphone 4 not a 4s, to add to that 4.12.01 isn't unlockable by ultrsn0w at this time. the SAM activation loophole was closed by apple months ago. there was a gevey interposer released for 4.12.0.1 but it was based on the SAM exploit. if the handset doesn't work with a tmobile micro sim then its blocked. are u sure its tmobile uk and not a US device??

just checked its a 4 only , god knows why he said it was a 4s .. l just restoring now to see if his uk sim still works

just restored it and its working again , looks like he might be stuck on t-mobile then ,, cheers m8
