Hi bought iPhone from friend 2 days later banned off the net work looks like ended contract early is there anything I can do with the phone or have I bin ripped off thanks for any help what happens if you end your contract early

The illegal route would be change IMEI if its possible but that's illegal and carries a big fine. I don't think forum would condone in that kind of action either.

The other option is to use it as an expensive iPod or bin it.

you mean the imei of the phone has been reported as stolen? and been banned from itunes? hetwork? what error messages do u get if linked to itunes?

If he's a friend he will give you back your money, then let him sort it out

they can be used abroad or the IMEI can be illegally changed . I bout a galaxy S2 earlier this year that was blocked 2 days later. I couldnt find anyone to change the ImEI so I sold it for half of what I paid to someone who exports them
