On your iPhone go into settings/general/about and check your version number.
If it says 5.1.1 then google and download absinthe 2.0 and follow instructions.
If you are not on 5.1.1 then connect to iTunes and it will tell you an upgrade is available for your iPhone so go ahead and upgrade, and iTunes will put 5.1.1 on your phone.
Be warned that today is the last day to get 5.1.1 as the new operating system iOS 6.0 will be available from tomorrow and the absinthe jailbreak will not work with that. Do it today.

Yes mate that firmware is way old so update to 5.1.1 and rejailbreak with absinthe 2.0

Extract the contents of the file and look for the wee green absinthe skull. Click on the skull to run the program and follow on screen instructions. Plug your phone in when it tells you.
