Start

This image shows my iPhone on 6.0(red box)
I have NOT prevented a baseband upgrade as I don't need the unlock

1-Click Extras



2-Click Even More


3-Click Restore


4-Click IPSW


5-Navigate and Select the firmware you want to downgrade/restore/upgrade too


6- At this point the option to prevent updating your baseband will be offered...click "Yes" to protect baseband, click "No" to allow update

7-Now the magic starts...follow the onscreen directions to enter DFU mode


8-It's now just a matter of letting redsnow do it's thing...notice the IPSW firmware I wish to be on has been identified.


9-Nearly done..!!


10-SUCCESS...

just tried to roll min Dads phone back from 6 to 5.1.1 but i still dont know how to do the blobs thing.

i get a differant message in screenshot 6, it says.................'the blob signing window for 5.1.1 is closed.
the downgrade workarounds for A5 devices or newer are for ipad2 owners or 5.x restores.
would you like to attempt the restore anyway'

im stuck, i dont know what to do.

Unless you have saved your SHSH blobs for your dads iPhone for 5.1.1 firmware you CANNOT downgrade....
