hi guys picked up a iphone 3gs 32gb today at a car boot sale locked to 02 can i unlock this and jailbreak it ???? have sent 02 a email for it to be unlocked will see where that goes phone info is version 6.0(10a403) model mc133b modem firmware 5.16.07

Hi mate only a tethered JB using redsnow0.9.15b3, unlock would come from redsnow baseband downgrade and ultrasnow from cydia....this maybe if your shsh blobs are saved? Have a look pal

You could also downgrade to ios 5.1.1 if you have the blobs saved. Then you can do an untethered jailbreak.

would the iphone needed to be jailbroken to save shsh blobs ???? just pick up phone yesterday at carboot so iam thinking it was never jailbroken

No you just need tiny umbrella to check for and save all blobs.

Apple have confirmed to unlock phone just have to see how long a untethered jailbreak will take , is it worth saving the shsh blobs on phone now running ios6 ???

Tiny pulls the blobs from the server so just see if it does,I personally would just hang about tethered is a bit of a ball ache I have mine done but mines a i4...can be a lot of hassle iTunes mmm that's weird but iOS 6 seems crap to me what's new?

Will it let u on iTunes ?,if you click featured does it show your or mrs email at bottom?

sorted did a restore from backup and this fixed it , have to say ios 6 is other sh**
