Best 3G update

I have a 3g with 3.1.2 and 05.13.04 firmware. I want to upgrade to the latest version but keep the 05.13.04 fimware.

I want to make sure I retain the existing firmware. Thanks in advance.

Get hold of redsnow iphone/ipod utility
it has facilities to save and isolate your softeare and blobs unique id from apple about your phone which u will need to downgrade etc
Snowbreeze anotrher utlity also has a section fpr upgrading which will preserve ur baseband
Google above terms to better understand #Dont advise dabbling with upgrading etc unless tech savvy as u could
Brick ur phone
BTHW if u upgrade with apple they will install the latest firmware and update it so u cannot downgrade to a lesser firmware so beware
