    Ipod Touch 3rd Gen

    I know its the wrong part of the form but no one is looking at the Ipod Touch section

    Is it possible to jailbreak a 3rd Gen ipod touch with version 5.1.1.

    Also will i lose all my music, apps Ect if i do?

    Could you also recommend the best software to do it with. thank you

          Yes...use the latest redsn0w 0.9.15b3 tool...jailbreak procedure is pretty simple...

              No you won't lose anything that's already on the iPod- although you should always back up to iTunes just incase something goes wrong. Btw iTunes will tell you your 5.1.1 firmware has been updated but just say no to the update then follow fijiman as above.
