Tried the first method and it most certainly lets you download the apps but they don't run.

The guy on youtube then goes on to show another method ... not had time to try it yet.

I can confirm this works. I have been doing this on my iPhone 5 iOS 6.01 for the past few weeks.

If any one wants advice how to do it I can try to put a tutorial together

Where are you seeing this 2nd method? I've watched the video twice and he only explains one way to do this haha?

I've been trying now.. I can get the IPA's to download but they won't sync to my iPhone 5. It acts as if it's syncing but nothing shows up on my device when it's finished.

shows the other app but tbh I got a couple of apps to download and install (free) but tried Tomtom and it d/l's ok but then asks for apple id etc.

Tried again and hey presto it works !

Suspect I may lose it again when I sync with itunes but worth a try (??)

Yep I already had that KY program and it seems to have always been the best for me. That PP one doesn't work for me.

TT still working after itunes sync !

But because it's not d/l from itunes it seems to muck up the sync a bit ... can't move the icons around with itunes you have to manually move them.

By the way if you go for tt make sure you have enough space for it ... it's 1.8GB !
