Not that I needed it my 3GS is unthethered on 6.0.1 however when people announce dates they should be a bit careful about promising things they aren't in control of. Hence my cynicism, which was right, it's no longer Sunday and hasn't been for a while. Still got there in the end I hope

Always a good idea to be on the highest Untethered jailbreakable firmware possible... ie iOS 6.1..... you will be sure to have access to the latest apps available in the AppStore...as they are updatedComment

There is NO REASON why you shouldn't run the new Jailbreak now....it's very quick and easy...
there are a few issues with the jailbreak....the weather app crashes...not a big deal breaker... the devs are aware....a fix may happen via Cydia...
