any phone tecs ? iphone4 no sound or ringer on loud spearker

i got an iphone4 which does not work on loud speaker so i can not hear music and the ringer,but i can hear them througt headphone..its not the charger port or loud spearker unit as i have tested with my other mother/b .done resett+headphone in and out.but still not working.need help on this one ...thanks

Sounds like a communication problem. Had the same problem with my ipad3 and apple ended up replacing it. Apart from restoring the firmware there's not much you can do that you haven't already done. A visit to apple Genius Bar perhaps.

The problem may lie with the headphone jack....iPhone thinks the headphones are constantly plugged in when it's really unplugged...check around the jack area...

If this is the case then it will show headphone volume when you adjust the side volume toggle, even if the headphones are out.

I would take it to apple Genius Bar get it priced up for a repair.

hi,i got another iphone4 so i took out the motherbroad to test in the other 1 shell and the ringer/loud/music all works...i dont go to the genius bar,its just a little hobby of trying to fix faulty iphone i buy of ebay..im not doing to well at mo. ,,the last one i got have a corrupt imei...
