updates on 4.2.1 3g????HELP

Hi,
Does anybody know how to update apps on iphone 3g 4.2.1,
smurfs village has an update and the firmware version is too old so ive edited the info.plist to string 4.3.3string but stil wont install update or download it on the phone ive even changed the fw on the phone to spoof 4.3.3 so im lost as to what to try.
