Copying iphone 4 to iPhone 5

Hi, just purchased a new iphone 5, and was trying to copy all apps and settings from the iPhone 4 across, but was unsuccessful, can someone advise me in as simple a process as possible? Thanks

Just do a back up of the 4 on iTunes. When it's done connect the 5 and do a restore from the back up. It should be identical to the old 4

You should have backed up the iPhone 4 to iTunes then connected the iPhone 5 to iTunes.mit would have asked you if you wanted to use the backup you had for the iPhone 4.
It can still be done.
