iPhone 4S Error 3194 and Error 3...Please help...!

    Hi Everyone,

I hope one of you will be able to help because I have no idea what to do next!

I have a 64GB iPhone 4S, and it was running fine on IOS 5.1.1. I then had a 'bright spark' idea to update to the latest version 7.0.4. I first tried on the wife's laptop because iTunes was already on there, that laptop is running Windows 7. On that laptop I had Error 1 and 3194, I tried all the so called fixes on YouTube and the like.

Then I tried on my work laptop, running XP Pro. I keep on getting Error 3 on my laptop. I've downloaded more IPSWs than I care to remember, all the way to 5.1.1 and nothing has worked, still get Error 3!

I've been through all the iClarified, RedSn0w, iH8Sn0w, etc, etc, etc...

Please help me fix this iPhone so I can trade this piece of iShit in for a Samsung!

Thanks for your help in advance!

Its nice that you call it a piece of shit, but it was you that had the bright idea to upgrade the iOS, thus losing your jailbreak. You're fault, not the fault of the piece of shit.

Just because I tried all that software for jailbreaking doesn't mean the device had been jail broken before, FYI it hadn't! I liked the look of iOS 7 and thought that it might be nice to have, I was wrong.

I was running a stock iOS, just like I am using on this iPad, this iPad is also due an update but I don't know if I really want to brick another device. Look, I've loved Apple products until now, and if you were going through what I am, knowing that the nearest Apple Store is about 500km away, you would give up too.

So, just because I tried a ton of software that is used for jailbreaking and MANY OTHER USEFUL FEATURES, DOES NOT MEAN THE DEVICE HAD BEEN JAILBROKEN, but thanks for your reply anyway!

Mate you know if your device is jailbroken- it's got a program called cydia right there on your home screen.
Have you tried putting the device into dfu mode and then restore via iTunes.

I tried DFU mode, when plugged into iTunes and I start a restore it just reboots into recovery mode, I've tried so many different methods, I spent the whole of last weekend struggling to get it going. Also, then iPhone never had Cydia on it, so wasn't jail broken. I was running 5.1.1 with no issues.... I'm not a fan of modding anything, mainly down to the fact that I repair things for a living and having to fix my own stuff is just a chore, especially if I break it!

It looks like you may have bricked it then. I would look for help out with the forum, if you know what I mean.
