jailbrake ipad 4 celluler is it safe?

hi have a ipad 4 cell on 7.04 will jailbrake mess up the modem setting? or is it safe now to jb ?
thanks you for any help , iv asked here as theres to much info in google im mixed up about it

The evasi0n jailbreak is sound but aware there have been problems with over the air updates. Best practice is to connect device to iTunes then perform a backup. Now restore the phone thus installing fresh iOS 7.0.4 then put backup back on and jailbreak.

Make sure you close down all password protection before jailbreak as this can cause issues. You can turn back on after the jailbreak.
