can someone tell me ,can you unlock a iphone 4s locked to o2 ,I want it unlocked to any network ,? I have had different answers and prices ,or is it not possible ,it is not jailbroken ,whatever that means ,I am a total Nerd when it comes to technology ,so answer's in words i can understand please , .yes or no would suffice ,cheers

There's no way to unlock it apart from getting it officially done by O2.
If the contract has expired they may do it free or charge you around ?20.

cheers for the reply ,i have been on the their website and they have said they would unlock it for ?15 ,and it would take 72 hours

That's a good deal mate, once you pay your dosh they send you a text message and you connect to iTunes. A message on iTunes tells you when it's done.
Easy, peasy, japaneezy, and you will be factory unlocked for life regardless of future ios updates.
