To keep your jailbreak healthy I would recommend you load ' Complete PPsync Remover ' from Repo: http://cydia.angelxwind.net/
PPsync is poorly written bit of code linked to the Pangu jailbreak....it has been reported the cause of many iDevice reboot loops/crashes.

Apple released 7.1.2 update last night, must be to counteract the jailbreak exploits.
          Not updating .

7.1.2 is a minor update released by Apple....It is SAFE to update ( but not via OTA)....Pangu 1.1 WILL jailbreak this new firmware

I noticed that today, so maybe update and re-jailbreak tonight when I get home.

iOS 8 is beta testing and imminent so why bother updating, I'm still on 7.0.4 and fine with it.

I will always stay with the latest jailbreakable firmware....some of the newer jailbreak tweaks offered on Cydia may not be compatible with older firmware....

Can't update to iOS 8, I have an iPhone 4.
Updated to 7.1.2 and tried the jailbreak again, seems to be working this time.

@johnboy1974 I won't be able to update to iOS 8 on iPhone 4, because the oldest iPhone that can run iOS 8 is the 4s (according to Apple).
I will just have to make do with 7.1.2, because I'm not planning to buy a new phone any time soon.
