Is it possible to take an iphones motherboard & then place it in to another iphone, will it work or would it just brick the phones???

Trying to work out where your going with this. :- If other phone was 4s and motherboard was damaged but everything else was working on it then you could put a working motherboard from 4s in and all would work. But why would you not just use broken phone as parts for the working one?

One phone is icloud locked in excellent condition & my other one is has a smashed screen & back, dented & in pretty shittty condition so rather than pull it to bits & pay for parts etc would just put the motherboard from one to the other!

YES U CAN REPLACE THE MAIN BOARD IF ITS THE SAME MODEL, SO ITS 4S U MUST REPLACE WITH 4S .... WHATS WRONG WITH THE FAULTY MAIN BOARD????

YES U CAN REPLACE WITH ANOTHER MAIN BOARD, BUT THE MAIN BOARD MUST BE THE SAME MODEL. SO IF ITS 4S IT MUST BE REPLACED WITH 4S
