    iPhone 4s imessages not working

    Hi,
My iphone 4s (7.1.2) imessages is not working. I have tried everything out there, switch on/off imessages/reset network settings etc. I have even been to the apple genius bar who did a complete firmware reset and set it as a new phone but the imessages do not work. I can send mms messages to people but I am not receiving anything. Please can anyone add anything else to try.

Anyone had similar issues out there and we're able to get it working again?

Ffs iShit hate it, piece of plastic crap has to have data enabled or wifi for the piece of shit to work on iShit messages.

try another SIM card, or better still smash the power/data hungry piece if plastic that makes a noise when somebody wants something.

biggest piece of crap I've ever been given, got 3 of them, ishut all want crushing .

pish total and utter post (iShit Failiure) .

good thing is when it auto corrects program's do isf comes up as (iShit Failiure)

I take it the phone is out of warranty?.
Either way I would take it back to apple and demand an explanation as to why they cannot fix this issue. if they can't help you speak to trading standards about your purchase not being fit for purpose.

Update. Everything I tried failed so I contacted apple again and they said they needed me to send it off for a repair. Anyway they couldn't repair it so I've now got a replacement phone.

Good your sorted mate, they took their time. I would let apple customer services know of your experience you should have been given a replacement or at least an explanation as to why the Genius Bar were unable to solve your problem.
