Tried using pangu tojailbreak but nothing worked any info would be great ipad 7.0.4

also tried evasion but get to the rootstf the just closes down without finnishing

If you have used over the air updates on your iPad then you will have problems with this jailbreak.
The device needs to updated via a tethered connection to iTunes. This will put the latest available iOS onto the device, so make sure the new iOS is jail breakable before you do so.

which version of pangu were you using?
I jailbreaked ios 7.1.2 using pangu v1.2.1 and it worked fine.
