I went to change my daughters battery in her Iphone 5 something I've done numerous times for different people but this time when I unclipped it and eased it up off the sticky back tape I got a small puff of smoke come from the top right hand side of the battery , near were the screw down plate is.
Now the phone is dead as a door nail with both new and old battery, are we talking fried and time for a new one ?
