Freezing

ive had my iphone 3g when it first came out and i have to say up untill the last 4 months its been perfect recently its been freezing i was thinking it was my apps so i deleted all the games and its just got worse. i have no idea what it is and its doing my head big style. any ideas

Is it jailbroken ?if so then you need to clear the cydia cache, you would have to google to find the answer as I can't remember where it is. But this would solve the problem if it is jailbroken.

nope the phone isnt jailbroken i deleted some emails well over 1200 and it speed it up slightly but keeps freezing i could have killed it today

Try restoring and do a clean install (not from backup). i had a similar issue and it worked for me.

thanks for that il give it a try. its just doing my head in i try to send a txt and it take 2 mins to get onto the txt screen
