Must be another way to share iphone Apps?

Can anyone think of a way to share iphone/ipod touch Apps?

As most of you have found out ?Hackulous/Appulous? have put a passworded Troll bridge on their website, so you cannot download any programs unless you know the answer to the Cryptic clues that they keep setting & changing on a very regular basis.

They say that it is on a temporary basis until they sort out some new servers to spread the load, but just maybe they might like to keep it that way & make you pay once it is set up.. (Who Knows?) & as they are the only site (that I know of) that does it this way, just gotta wait..

There must be another method to share the Apps without just relying on this one website..

Below is a list of 200 Apps that I have acquired & willing to share, (I have more) & I am sure there must be loads more of you in the same situation with Apps sitting on computers that someone else could make use of, & share with each other.

So, anyway it?s just an idea @ the moment.

My first thought was to open up a file sharing account & post the links for the uploaded Apps on here, I have a file sharing account but it?s only 2gig storage with max upload file size of 200mb, (some of these Apps are over 250mb) so won?t be able to keep many on there, or for very long.

Can anyone help me think of any good ideas, without getting DK in trouble of course?

Once you have an iphone App on your desktop, it?s so easy to get it loaded into your iphone.

All you will need:

iphone that has been Jailbroken, with ?appsync? installed.
A pc/laptop with itunes installed.

Then with itunes open & ?Applications? selected in the itunes ?Library?, drag the ?.ipa? file into the open Aplications window,
I have even found that with itunes open & double clicking on the ?.ipa? file puts it into the right place.

Then when you plug in your iphone & press ?Sync?, it should install the programs onto your iphone. (it works for me)
I don?t see why it should not work with the ipod touch.

Know what you mean about the ?1.99 payment to App Store.
Had a quick look for that program, but the closest I got was this one "Music Library Quiz v1.3 CRACKED", I can upload it want.

So am I, as my Rapidshare account with these Apps expires very soon & I don't think I will be using Rapidshare again due to them not allowing anyone without an account, FREE download slots.

So next time prob will be using another fileshare account provider.

I too feel that Apple have gone too far with there restrictions on the 3gs. Will they every learn from the likes of Mr Gates, Nokia etc. Maybe not!! It's sad to think of all the money people spend on new tech & apple won't let us own it, "entirely".

If a hack is the only way forward then I guess many owners are going to miss out on the full potential of their iphone.

I like the idea that in settings you can put your own homepage location, So now I might be able to change it to my own website for the App installs & see if I can install some from there...
