Hi everyone can someone please help.
I have an unlocked iphone (18 month contract is now up)
I have a virgin sim card PAYG 200 mins unlimited texts.
I put the sim card in the iphone expecting it to work but came up as invalid sim ?
Opened up itunes to try to activate it that way but this comes up "there is no sim card in your installed in your iphone"

Any help with settings etc would be much appreciated please

It is jailbroke using blackra1n

So its not officially unlocked then.
You need to restore to 3.1.2 NOT THE NEW 3.1.3.
Then run blackra1n to jailbreak then run blacksn0w to unlock.

Or call o2 and spend ?15 to get it officially unlocked.

Looks like the new baseband has been hacked into anyway.

3.1.3 hasnt been hacked yet but someone has manged to crash the new basband so its only a matter of time before an unlock.
