well i use universal speakers for any mp3 players and i use it with my iphone. X-miniMax. Awesome quality, rechargeble, small, and not so expensive. i suggest you google more about it

If you can get traditional PC speakers and plug them into an iPod dock, the sound quality is about 10x better for the same price. Those things are utter rip-offs because of the cost of licencing the dock connector/made for iPod logo.

I have an. Intempo concert. From Argos. Superb sound. But about ?99. Bit steep but real good quality.
