ok saw ur screenshot, it says 3.1.3 not 3.1.1 as ur first post says, no there is no solution yet that i know of although rumours suggest that we will have a solution in the next week or so

okay guy sorry that you hear nothing from us for long awhile but we are working a lot on the unlock between study time and other free time. all bugs are fixed and we will release our fine unlock thunderst0rm on april 23. why april 23? its my 23 birthday

sorry to all of you who have ipod touch 3g and 2g. only 1g is supported.

You can jailbreak and unlock with thunderstorm
-iPhone 3Gs
-iPhone 3G
-iPod Touch 1g
@firmware 3.1.3 with baseband 05.12.01

You can jailbreak the iphone 3G and 3GS with the old boot rom using Pwanage tool 3.1.5, or sn0wbreeze

for the people with newer 3GS's your out of luck.

On the iPhone --> GEOHOTZ blog, Very clever kid! He also crack the ps3 and is the reason for the otherOS option being removed from the latest update, but he has a solution for that too!

My advices is that there will be a new update soon so back up ur shsh file for your phone if you want to keep your jailbreak for good.

use the auto AutoSHSH - 3.1.3/3.2 to grab it. ( you can use umbrella firmware but this is much easier)

yea im in the same boat! I bought a new 3gs when they came out and did the right think.. kept all my shsh on file so i could always jailbreak, But then i broke then phone and was replaced with a new one with 3.1.3 firmware... been hanging out for this jailbreak for a while. I think in the next few weeks we should see one out.

u can use b;ackrain but it is a tethered jailbreak
