have you got one original app of the app store cause i had a simllar prob and had 2 download a free app off the app store and tjen switch the phone on/off.

A bit strange

I used spirit on a 2g touch 3.1.3 and all working fine, install0us went in no probs and can d/l apps.

used the same spirit on a 3g iphone 3.1.3 and had many probs getting hackulous to be added and finally went in the trying to install install0us kept erroring but finally got it installed but cant d/l apps. Apps appear no probs in install0us but when trying to d/l an app it times out or get a message saying ticket doesnt exist.

Tried d/l an app on the iphone that deffo d/l on the touch and it just kept timing out.

Any ideas?

Hi installous is being updated have you gone to cydia and upgraded it yet once upgraded just reboot ur iphone

I'm getting a host unreachable and operation timed out error, I guess the server is being bombarded with upgrade requests . It'll probably crash later on, will check again later and see.

Yes, I upgraded to 3.1.3 then jailbreak'd it, no worries. It took me 2 attempts though, had to restore to factory default and then restore my backup but worked second time.

Only advice I can give is, read the instructions fully before continuing with the upgrade. And take a backup before hand.

isnt 3.1.3 only for g3s really tho .. so the backup restores everything even large apps like tomtom then .. cant wait to play .. wifes not happy tho .. " u spent how much and the cookers crap" wots wrong with women.. cooker ? we have a microwave and an iphone she should me happy im happy

if your new toy is comming tomorrow that means you have to attatch it to itunes to get it activated and that means the latest firmware 3.1.3.

l read l can just press cancel . but saying that it looks like spirit hasnt a problem with it anyway

is only a few weeks old and only has 3.1.2 on it and sim unlocked through o2 and not unlocked with jailbreak

l say new it was returned but sent to iphone and no problem .. more than likely catalogue company return warranted till march 2011

yeah it came up with some mad cctv software suite it costs 999 dollars as if anyone would be daft enough to buy that right.

This is what i'm getting on my boys iphone, but not on daughters touch and yet both on 3.1.3 and used spirit on both at the same time.

Both have genuine free apps from itunes store so rules that one out and it looks like others getting same prob so would think its more to do with phone rather than jailbreak.

have you booted up cydia today theres a new version of instalous out now which is working fine i tried it today.
