    Ringtones

    Hi all.

I just got a second hand iPhone 16g 3g, it's unlock to all network but...
    1) I cant turn the phone off, if I do it will go into sync mode.
    2) How do I delete the Factery ringtones & input my own.

    With thanks

yeah basically it is prob using whats called a tethered jailbreak so if u connect it to the pc it will reboot fine but cant be turned off normally if that makes sense

as for ringtones in itunes u need to click manually manage ringtones drag and drop the files u want as ringones (m4r files) THEN SYNC TO PHONE M8

I dont think you can delete the factory ringtones but if you search google making your own ringtones in itunes is easy enough.

go to bittorrent sites like the pirate bay and download ringtone packages. once you have them just drag them into itunes then sync your iphone with itunes. they will appear in setting munu/sounds
