thanks for your input,,,im still not sure what to do,,,,either i get the upgrade now and get the phone mid september or i cancel the upgrade and wait a little longer and see what happens,,i already cancelled once ,when the reception issues became world headlines

pros: good camera + screen resolution + speed
cons: bad or loss of communication when you hold it in the left bottom corner.

but three have told me that the reception issues are being addressed and the new batch of phones will have hardware upgrades to resolve it,,plus im left handed which im told will make things even worse

The IPhone 4 with the bumper kit seems to work fine. If your IPHone is less than a month old, you should be able to return it and get an replacement from APPLE. This sorts the antena issues

Got my 3GS stolen, and replaced with iPhone4. Software is the same though, super stylish, and cool with the noise cancelling feature.. That apart, I would not recommend to upgrade from 3gs to iPhone 4, unless you just WANT that stylish design.. It's just not that much of an improvement.. But to Ya'll 2G and 3G owners, it can't go fast enough!! :-D

Thanks, i'm on iphone 3G now and i am thinking of buying new iphone 4... because it started to lag a LOT with iOS 4...

just spoke to three today as they sent me a message and said i can have the phone in 2 days time and not the stated date of sep 21st,,,i asked them why i can have the phone a month earlier than i was told,,and how come if apple are sorting the antenna issues and you originally told me that for this reason the new batch wont be available till sep 21st are you now telling me i can have it in two days time
i was told by a different three advisor that apple havent sorted anything out but are curently looking into ways to fix the issues
it beggars belief,so it looks like they were trying to fob me off with a load of bulls$$t about apple were sorting it out,they then went on to say that if i had any issues within 30 days i would be able to send the phone back,,seems like a complete waste of time to me,,there are obviously major issues with the antenna and apple dont want to recall millions if handsets and are hoping that people dont have issues in the first 30 days,,,think i will wait for the i phone 5
