    Scratching my Head with Jailbreak

    Hi All
    Can anyone tell me if there is a jailbreak for my iphone

    VERSION 3.1.3 (7E18)
    MODEL MC133B
    MODEM FIRMWARE 05.12.01

    I upgraded the software to 3.1.3 by mistake a while ago, im hoping that jailbreak has moved on but do not fully understand which (if any) software can jailbreak my phone

      Yes mate, if you jb previously and stored the SHSH files on cydia then you can downgrade back to 3.1.2 and use blackra1n to jb.

      Otherwise you can use spirit to JB the phone, although you will need to back up your SHSH files, just in case you need to downgrade at another time.

              No problem mate, but dont upgrade itunes to 9.2 as it will remove the jb.

              There is a fix for the 9.2 itunes problem.

              The best and the most easiest jailbreak tool has just been updated (unofficially?) to bring support for iTunes 9.2. Earlier when Apple released the final version of iTunes 9.2, it broke the compatibility with Spirit and so this new version brings the required fix to make it compatible with iTunes 9.2. However no new feature has been added. It still does not work with iOS 4 and iPhone 4. Only iOS 3.1.3 and 3.1.2 for iPhone 3GS, 3G, 2G, iPod touch, and iOS 3.2 for iPad is supported.

                  don't believe it, i jail**oke my phone on 3.1.3 and itunes has updated my phone to os 4, can i jailb**ak os4, does anyone have a link on how to please

                      Ok did you back up your SHSH files, as you should be able to downgrade back to 3.1.3. Otherwise you need to look for something called snowbreeze 1.7, that will allow you to jb your phone on os 4.0
