Iphone3 16GB freezing.

I have had this problem for the last two weeks now, I have contacted O2 and they have told me to reset the phone, I have but still same problem. It seems that Itune must have a corrupt file in one of their recent updated files. Any suggestions how to fix without losing any of my apps or contacts please?.

Have you updated to fw 4.0.1? This is apparently causing problems for 3gs users. If you have then no, you cannot fix at present, and will need an update from apple.
