Didn't have any problems doing it today on iPhone 4 ios4.0. Shouldn't have made any difference, but I installed from rock rather than cydia.

It's an application pretty much like the AppStore, but the download links go to file sharing sites. Oh, and it's free! . Works pretty well.

Rock and Cydia are sorta similar, go into cydia and search for rockapp, sign up with a username and password, and search for progs same as cydia, except cydia has more "cracked apps".

am i missing something with installous though? the one from hackulo wouldn't install so i installed one from SiNfuL iphone repo, but it doesn't seem to do anything. if i click on the about tab at the bottom it goes on about installous closing down, click on the download and browse buttons and nothing happens. do i need to add url's to it or something?

You need to add all repositories to cydia first. Then set your homepage in installous too apptrackr home

yeah got tomtom 1.3 installed (couldn't find tomtom1.4) a few games like, soccer skills, crash bandicoot, lets golf, that wunder radio you sent which is great just need to try and find a good bluetooth thing so i can send a few things from my old phone if possible?

Only ever used bluetooth with the tomtom car kit m8, try ibluenova or ibluetooth not sure if there in cydia or rock ?, syncing stuff just now so cant check for ya.

Ok Krazy, go into cydia>manage>sources>

They are all the repos that you want to have for cydia. It will allow you to get more stuff.

Install installous and set the homepage to the link I gave you. Thats the main apps store page, have been using it since 3.1.2 and its ace.
