iphone 3g missing gps signal

Hi all ! I have iphone 3g, 8 gb,OS 3.1.2, and "Maps" applications does not find gps signal,always when is accesed give me message "your location could not be determined"....Any idea ?

Depends on where you live, it may take longer than usual to get signal on a satalite. If you live near a place where is full of big business towers and tall buildings you will barely ever get signal.

Your best is to turn off the phone, and turn it back on if it is NEVER working. But if it works SOMETIME, then it is because it is hard to get signal where you are.

i had to turn on my gsp in the apps settings, just have a good look around mate

Hi mate. I had the same problem on the first iPhone 3G I got. I spent ages on google and messing with all the settings on the phone but still couldn't get it to work, in the end I sent it back to the provider and they sent me a replacement under warranty which worked fine straight away!

Sorry I can't be much more help, but if nothing else works and you've got warranty on it, send it back!!!
