    iphone formally at&t

I have today bought a iphone 3g from ebay and it was already jailbroken and unlicked to any network stuck a vodafone sim in and worked but it had details of prebious owner on it so i decided to restore it to factory settings now its asking for ituned to activate it i tried a 02 sim in it and it said wrong sim so i called the seller and he said it was originally on at&t network originally

if i bought an at&t simcard would it then activate so i can rejailbreak and unlock to any network again or is there any other options available to get it working again?

    any help is much appreciated

phone was on3.2.1 firmware and i restored using the original 3.2.1 firmware file

Ok do you mean 3.1.2? As there was no 3.2.1 fw for the iphone. And you can either get an at&t sim, or you can try a program to activate it.
