installing .app file?????

i have a jail broken iphone 3g with instalous i downloaded a iphone file .app and im trying to install it using iphonebrowser i have read the instructions on using this as it says its much more simple then shh over to the iphone i get to this bit of the simple instructions,,,,, Browse to Var/Mobile/Library/Downloads
This is the downloads repository for Installous where is stores a copy of all uninstalled applications........ simple enough var/mobile/library but when i go there downloads is not there tried other things but im still lost any help wud be good

Hi ya, it is NOT this directory Var/Mobile/Library/Downloads.

It should be in this one:
Var/Mobile/Documents/Installous/Downloads.

yeah so does mine but you cant get certain apps on installous
