try update my iphone from 3.1.3 to 4.0 or 4.0.1 its jailbroken but wont update got firmware from felixbruns ant ideas or is it worth just sticking with 3.1.3,just a lot of new apss n stuff need 4.0 or later cheers

which idevice you using? and what errors you getting? also in cydia at the top of screen..... which verions does it have shsh's saved?

just connect it to itunes and it will put 4.1 onto the phone for you- the new jailbreak for 4.1 is available in this section
