Hotmail on iphone

Hi all
For all the people using a hotmail account on the iphone native email app.
If your like me, you may have more than 1 sub folder, sadly in my case I have 21
If you would like to access all folders in the standard email app follow steps 1 to 4.


Setting up Exchange for Hotmail on your iPhone will allow you to keep your contacts,
emails, and calendars wirelessly synced between your iPhone and the cloud.

How to install Hotmail via MicroSoft Exchange on the iPhone:

Step 1: On your iPhone, go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > and create a new Micorsoft Exchange account.

Step 2: Enter the following information:

Email: [email protected]
Server address: m.hotmail.com
use SSL: enabled
Username: [email protected]
Password: password
Domain: <blank>

step 3: Enable all folders you want from your hotmail Exchange account

Step 4: Go to your mail.app and you should see your new Hotmail Exchange account.


** I have a hotmail.co.uk addresss, and just used it in all the fields except on
Server address: m.hotmail.com **

*Jailbreak not required*
*I always use mBox Mail for my hotmail account now using the native app I can download attachments*
