    Iphone 4 pin code

    My mates just got himself a new toy but only has 1 go left to put in his pin code to lock it....he wasnt sure if it was 0000 or 1234 or if because hes on voda it was another...any ideas lads before he ~~~~s it.

    He would of set the code mate, there aint no generic code for the phone. If he does lock it, then I think you can restore it in itunes, and it will take the lock back off. Not 100% though.

      If it is the pin code for the sim card itself and its locked then the only way to unblock that sim car is to ring up his network and get that sorted...and if its just the passcode lock on the iphone im pretty sure that it can be taken off even if you cant remember the code, but not entirely sure how to get rid of the code from the iphone it self

        I dont think hes talking about the PUK code mate, more the 4 digit lock code of the phone. Indeed if it was the PUK code, then only the network provider could supply this info.

          Ah right then in that case he can get the code removed from the phone itself, its done by a software but im not a 100% sure how or which software is used to get that code taken off, but im sure if you take it into a local phone shop they could get that sorted

            You will need a program like iphone browser or ssh into the phone if installed...
            Either way you will need to navigate to var then to keychains and delete the file keychain-2.db.
            Reboot and done.
