you will need to post a bit more information like what os is your phone running are you just wanting to jailbreak or unlock it to.

easyest way to jailbreak has to be jailbreakme.com as long as you have a wifi conection on your phone you just open safari go to jailbreakme.com then slide to jailbreak. but as i said b4 you will have to check what firmware your phone is running first

The easy way to jailbreak your iphone...first find your current firmware and consult YouTube on exact jailbreaking methods(watch vid at least 5 times)..post here again if you run into trouble...

connect your iphone to itunes and let it update your firmware to the latest which is 4.1

now browse through the iphone section on here and find the links to limerain which will jailbreak your phone and the links to the video which will show you how to do it.

a little searching around the forum is all that is required.

No unlock at present if you have updated your Iphone via itunes to 4.1,
what firmware version are you on ?

Yes, be careful with updating via itunes own update files because it will update your baseband files as well. If you need to unlock your phone to any network you will want to keep an old baseband.
