    help jailbreaking 3Gs new boot i OS4.0.1

    got problems jailbreaking this 3Gs trying with limera1n (which seems to be messing the firmware up and i'm having to reinstall ) i'm getting it into DFU mode o.k but it goes no further and i tried using greenpois0n which isn't seeing DFU mode at all so it goes no further, tryied using redsn0w 9.5 but redsnows not having any part if the 4.1 firmware i'm downloading..
    Any help would make my life a hell of alot easier as i have to get this phone jailbroken to use..

      Sweet, worked it out, was getting nowhere with limera1n, unfortunately as it looked like the easy alternative.It was just hanging on the DFU faze, then I was having to reset the device:-(..Ended up going with sn0wbreeze then using Ireb to get past itunes errors as I hadn't jailbroke the device before...Now I got the great job of getting something to crash the baseband for 4.1:-( any help here I'll be greatful, Cydia's Ultrasn0w ain't much help right now!!
      anyone had any luck with redsn0w 9.6b2?? was wondering wether this might be better for unlocking??

          No unlock as of yet for your modem firmware, one will be released as soon as
          4.2 is released, HTH.
