    4.0.1 to 4.1 firmware

I have now decided to upgrade to 4.1 firmware... with 4.2 firmware imminent I wanted to save my shsh blobs ready for an untethered jailbreak. Reading on a few blogs it seems that if you don't save your 4.1 blobs your 4.2 firmware jailbreak will be tethered(not good).
I decided to preserve my current baseband using tinyumbrella don't need to unlock my iphone....(something to do).

    All my tweaks working great

Just to add jailbroke using custom 4.1 firmware - easy

Apple will stop signing 4.1 firmware hopefully by Friday 11th when the new 4.2 firmware will be available...most should see when the start Cydia all the saved SHSH blobs at the top. Some may notice they have 4.2b3 saved as well, even though they have not upgraded to 4.2 FW.This beta SHSH file has been tagged on to all who have upgraded to 4.1FW in the hope it will be useful when jailbreaking your UNTETHERED idevice. To make doubly sure your safe, save your 4.1FW blobs, with tinyumbrella 4.1.13(this will automatically save 4.2b3 file)
