upgrading from 3.1.3 to 4.1 jailbreak
hi i have a 3gs iphone 3.1.3 jailbroken phone .thinking i should upgrade to 4.0 something,i am downloading firmware from felixbruns but itunes says file is corrupt ,should i bother or any tips on wht i should be doing,cheers

If your not worried about unlocking.... just use itunes to upgrade in the normal way then jailbreak via greenpois0n or limera1n ...simples -
careful upgrading using itunes 4.2 takes off your jailbreak if i remember correctlyComment

thats what im worried about got to many apps n shit to loose if it goes tits up ,dont get this greenpoison/limera1n.i jailbroke with spirit which was piss easyComment

back up then use limerain,,,very easy to jb

talk about a mountain out of a mole hill...
I'm assuming your new to jailbreaking BACKUP all your apps to iTunes - then upgrade - then jailbreak - then re sync to iTunes(all your apps returned)
Appsync from cydia needs to be installed.
All itunes upto 10 ok to accept cracked appsComment
