    Iphone frm OZ

    heya

    A friend of mine has just come bac from OZ and she brought home the iphone she got over there, but she cant get it to work on any of the irish networks

    anyone kno why this is ad anyone know how to get it to work???

    have you checked if its locked to an ozzy network provider ?

      yea thats what im guessing is wrong with it, she just said it to me last night in the pub, is it possible to get the network unlock codes???

          I think it should work ok, when you put in the sim card, go to Settings>General>Reset>ResetNetworkSettings and also same again but press ResetAllSettings.


          If a phone gets blocked in this country by all the networks it doesn't mean it will be blocked in say USA..Thats why alot of blocked phones travel abroad.

            I have had several Australian Iphones and had no problems with any of them. I think Australia was the first place to sell them not locked to any network.

                Nah, I just mend 'em and shut 'em. Only mine left now, given up with them, too many messed with now to make it worthwhile.

                  You would need to unlock the phone as with the originals from AT&T network.

                    I think all Australian ones are unlocked by law. Probably wrong there

                      If it was unlocked it would connect to the network as soon as a sim was entered. If its not connecting to a network, good chance is that its locked to the network.
