No m8 u know what they say if it's not broke don't fix it,however if your havin probs with apps etc maybe go to 4.0 but I would steer clear of 4.2

A quick heads up for iPhone 4 users who are waiting for an unlock on iOS 4.2.1,and those on baseband 3.10.01 and 2.10.04, this is rumoured to be out in January....and for those who are waiting for an UnTethered jailbreak on 4.2.1 should be available for Redsn0w on Christmas eve.....

Hi Guys
I seem to be struggling here with this as when i run redsnow and look for the IPSW file it shows it as a IMG file ?

[I] have renamed the extension to IPSW but the it says it cant reconise the file.

I have downloaded 4.2.1 from a few places and it still shows it as a IMG file? any idea's
