    Problem with a 8gb 3G

    Greetings

A friend off mine is having a big problem with his 3G 8gb iphone.
It just won't connect with the pc.
Also after a reset (by pressing home and sleep button) doesn't chance anything.
Sometimes the apple logo shows up in the middle off the screen, sometimes it also give's the loading circle in front off the apple logo buth than it stucks during loading.

    Does somebody have a solution?!

    Thanks in advance...

If you are constantly in a REBOOT cycle(constant apple logo) after a Cydia upgrade a fix that worked for me was to go through the motions of DFU mode then reJailbreak my iPhone with Greenpois0n...This kicked me out of the Reboot cycle..

.....mmmm I think you need to give a bit more info of iphone symptoms

Upgrade your iTunes to 10.1, then plug in it sounds like recovery mode, then restore to stock firmware, and re-jailbreak..?

Thanks for the replies but I can't connect the iPhone with the pc so how is it possible to do a restore or jailbreak?!
          I already have iTunes 10.1...

          Symptoms:
          Can't really say much more.
The IPhone is stuck in reboot, wont connect with a computer and sometimes a loading circle pops up in front off the Apple logo buth that's it!
It started after an idiot tried to update and jailbreak the iPhone. The guy doesn't know what he was doing so he can't tell what went wrong during the proces.

          Thanks in advance!

open iTunes then plug iPod in it may take a little while to register,it should pop up in iTunes saying you need to restore,if not keep iTunes on unplug phone the back in and wait again...make sure you can point it to your firmware. If not download it first, restore then jailbreak.

Use search bar on here and look for dfu, there is a guide which I posted a while ago.
