how easy is it to jailbreak my iphone 4?

ok i have an iphone 4 and been told that i should jail break it ,
1st how easy is it todo?
2nd will i still be able to still use itunes ?
3rd and how until i will be able to unlock it from orange network?

It all depends what firmware and baseband you are running on your phone. Sometimes its real easy sometimes not. You will be able to use itunes no matter what but to unlock it from orange you need to provide more details from the settings of your phone.
As a general rule if you update your phone via itunes every time there is a firmware update then you decrease your chances of unlocking it.

Yeh mate ,use greenpoison,limerain,snowbreeze 2.1. Not unlocksble though you will have to wait!...

it is unlockable but you will have to change the base band to an ipad version and then it proper screws any warranty so unless you desperate then i would not go that route yet

At the moment he cn only jailbreak ,unlock is not available on the current baseband he as!!!!!!. Only on bb 1.59 for iPhone 4.

Just jailbreak your phone for now and DO NOT UPGRADE IT via itunes. An unlock solution will be available but not as yet.
It is like a game of "cat and mouse" as apple patch all the exploits when you upgrade your firmware and thus baseband preventing you unlocking it.
However, once you have unlocked it is then possible to upgrade to a newer firmware but keeping your old (unlockable to any sim) baseband. It sounds a bit confusing but be patient and when there is a solution I will post it for you.
Jailbreaking is your only thing you can do for now......

ok so im gonna take the leap and jailbreak my iphone , once i do this will i lose anything on my fone ?
and with the firmware i have which is the easiest and safest way ?

you wont loose anything,i used limerain,,very simple easy step by step tut
even i done it with no problems
if your unsure mate check you tube loads of vids on there
might be best to have a look first

Back it up in iTunes first!then you can resync after,just don't update firmware through iTunes . I suggest using greenpoison or limerain seen as you can't unlock . It's easy but you must have your stock firmware(4.1) to point it at when you start the program,follow instructions.
