please help me out iphone activate sim???

had to restore my iphone back to factory firmware ect..

it did it all ect.. but asking for original sim card to be inserted to activate the iphone i havent got the original sim card does it have to be a special sim card if so can these be bought from ie carfone warehouse are only online ebay ect..

Whatever the original carrier the iphone was on just stick in any sim from the same network... or you can try Subscriber Artificial Module (SAM) method which will require you to jailbreak using Redsn0w 0.9.6b6...

You can buy activation sims dependant on the model.

Probably 02 you can get sims for as little as a pound,check your nearest newsagent,then just keep old of it.
What firmware/ baseband are you on now?.

i agree,, only the original sim will activate the iphone, had same problem here and because of that i keep a selection of sims from each entwork just in case..

ps anyone want to buy/trade a 3gs 16gb in black on vodafone for a 3gs 8gb in white on o2?
