Presume u mean iPhone 4, iOS 4.1, because of the baseband/modem fw 02.10.40 ? Jb available ,but not unlock I don't think at the moment

i GUESS THE WAIT IS GOING TO FAR AND KILLING. Can i not downgrade or something? Meanwhile, i have another here, though different firmware that fails in Network, the network fails and won't usually come back on until its either restarted or sim removed and re-inserted several times. When it first happened , it said " sorry for the inconvenience , your Springboard has crashed" and it lost Network. After restarting , it came on and its been on and off.Any help?

You have 2 iPhone 4's?

Anyways sounds like dodgy sim in the other one try a different sim.

Back on topic if you can restore to a stock firmware and the baseband changes back then you could re-jb(limerain) and (unlock) ultrasnow.if you restore with stock fw 4.0.2 and the baseband goes to 1.59.00 then you'll be sorted.Will it work probably but not sure don't play with iPhone 4's

Yes greenpois0n has a jail break for IOS 4.2.1 and it works great. I have my iphone4 jailbroken with this and it works fine. Here is a link to the download and when you run it follow the instructions and it is easy.

As far as I know it works on all iPhones but they have not released the one for iOS 4.3. So if you did not upgrade to that yet then you are ok but check on greenpois0n's site for comparability. Hope this helps

took a look on the greenpoison site but cant find any info on 3g jb
